So I seem to be pickin up a lot of great ideas for shoots as of lately and having loads of fun with my new camera and borrowed filters...Ill be posting more ads for paying shoots. Dan had given me an air compressor for christmas for my airbrush gun. Cans of propellant just werent cuttin it anymore and became quit costly. There is a huge difference between consistant air and a dumb can of freezing god knows what kind of air. Its all set up now and ive mucked around a bit, so Ill be jumping back onto that again as well. Lots of exciting things going on for me in the art part of life.
Helping a Pro
On the 31st I had a chance to help out with an amazing. My mother in law had set up her models and Dan ended up as one of them. I know Im gonna fizzle the title a bit here, but it was a Japanese rope work shoot, based on crucifixtion. It was a very cool experience. I was able to do hair and make up on several models. For me it was neat watching it all come together and looking at a different angle of shooting with proper lighting and various tools to enhance photo work. It was an absolute blast and i look forward to another opportunity to help out.
The Challenge
I recieved a unquie challenge yesterday from my mother in law. Seeming as how my camera seems to be my tube of lipstick that goes everywhere with me and everday Im takin a picture of some sort. This is a way to learn and explore my new camera and become familiar with its functions and features. It also will add to technique and bring out new and exsisting creativity. Everday I will post a new photo of something Ive shot. Its a neat challenge.
